Why hello my first time making a SoMa fanfic... hope you enjoy?
It had been a usual day as any in the D.W.M.A, The young scythe Meister had been deep into her book, and it had been about the regular basics of music, she wanted to learn the depths of music, its meaning, background culture history, any information that constantly sparked her curiosity why though?
It felt like she had reading for days, she finally decided to snap out of her daze; Maka strolled down the hallways as always expecting to hear a wave of students chattering on about their lives, but nothing. Something felt off, she walked into E.A.T class, no sight of anyone not even a single cricket, it felt abandoned, quiet almost like a ghost town. She had not seen the obnoxious blue-haired assassin who would be boasting on about such nonsense, then beside him would be his Quiet, reserved, Weapon It still questioned Maka in so many ways on how She dealt with such annoyance, but no matter how different they were they got along. On the other hand was the son of Shinigami who ruled over the D.W.M.A, he had usually been very mature and precise in his ways, although behind all this he shockingly carries a distaste for asymmetry which is usually well abided by his two weapons, the younger sister being the more child like naïve simple- minded young girl, that only left the eldest sister she had been the more cool-headed, serious out of the two not mentioning she had acted like a regular everyday teenager as well, such Differences... Maka let out a soft giggle. As cheesy as it sounds, opposites do actually attract one another no matter what.
She went on ahead checked all the outside courtyards, classrooms, labs, cafeteria, there was nothing, nobody, feeling like a lone waste land, more like a graveyard. Everything grew dark, Maka blinked her eyes once more to find herself somewhere else other than the D.W.M.A, the surroundings felt and looked so Caliginous and Aphotic
Maka felt her heart start to increasingly beat she grew more apprehensive with the passing second, she did the only action that first came to mind. SOUL! BLACK STAR! KID! She ran and ran even though she had no idea where she had been running into TSUBAKI?! PATTI! LIZ!? ANYONE?! Maka paused for a moment, and she felt hopeless by this point, but she knew she had to hold back such emotions. SOUL!!! She cried out to him.
She looked up to find herself in a dark, atramentous room. She had been standing in the middle of a ballroom, the floor had been made out of sleek marble flooring, shaped into a large Dark copper, Auburn diamond shaped pattern. The walls had been painted a dark crimson color, which resembled much to Soul eyes being flustered at the thought, and their hung an effulgent Ironwork Chandelier, such gothic Composition amazed Maka she could just imagine her partner. The sound of high pitched giggles and dark maniacal laughter, rung threw the room.
To think you are his Meister. The dark voice rung.
Maka turned around to find a petite girl, she looked younger than Maka, curled pigtails, and that glare that stood in her eyes as well, struck Maka.
Where am I?
Where do you think you are?
Maka stood silent This room had reminded her so much of the same exact room where Soul would play his piano to activate the black blood, but she knew every time he played, the closer he would be lost in madness
I shouldn't be thinking about that now! she thought
Maka had paused, the girl spoke again.
Do you think its fair to soul?
I mean by the looks of it, he's always taking the lead, showing you the way, I bet that you haven't even considered what he's done, and you let him get scarred as well! You two are not meant for each other, you cant even protect your other half you're useless.
Maka stood there with a heavy despondent expression
What, No you're lying no, Soul he's my partner
Yeah but it was my fault I could even bear to ever see his scarred chest every time I look at it reminds me of that damn event that took place. If only I was stronger it would've never happened! She kept thinking
I will become to be stronger, I have to be.
She then heard more and more giggles and laughter she turned to see more girls surrounding her, their expressions were so dark and eerie.
Stupid woman only relying on men!
You are nothing, just fade into madness already!
It's always about you, the damsel in distress, what about soul?
Soul will leave you, you can just tell practically!
You pathetic and useless Meister, look at what you've done, see?!!
She stood there her hands soaked in black blood as a trail of the blood left dripping down her black frilled dress she knew once she turned around she would regret it.
